The 0–100 roll-up of what is installed and how it is configured — protection present and healthy, Defender state, firewall, disk encryption, patch currency, admin hygiene and policy compliance.

A score distribution needs at least 3 published reports before it means anything — and a histogram over one or two would simply publish those contributors' scores.
What the score is made of
A 0–100 weighted roll-up of EDR and AV presence and health, Defender state, firewall, disk encryption, patch currency, local-administrator hygiene and policy compliance. Grade bands are A ≥ 90, B ≥ 75, C ≥ 60, D ≥ 40, F < 40.
Posture is what is configured; detection is what happened. The two are scored separately on purpose, and comparing them is half the value of the benchmark.
